HEY GRAMMY AWARDS:

WHAT ABOUT COMMUNITY-MADE MUSIC?

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, who is a trauma survivor and co-founder of Raven Drum Foundation, joins the National Museum of Mental Health Project to call upon the Grammy Awards to recognize the community music-making genre.

The Grammy Awards deserve applause for using their stage to raise funds for those affected by the California wildfires. Next, the Grammys should use their stage to raise awareness of community-made music - a noncommercial genre that unites first responders, college students, those impacted by cancer, and musicians and nonmusicians alike, to make music that heals.
