Inside Out Project Group Action: Out in the Open. In it Together.
Mental Health Association of Essex & Morris, Inc. (NJ)
What if every face in your community told a story of strength, struggle, and hope?

Out in the Open. In it Together is a Inside Out Project Group Action by the Mental Health Association of Essex & Morris, turning streets, walls, and public spaces into bold declarations that mental health matters. Through striking black-and-white portraits of real people living with mental health challenges, the exhibit brings private experiences into public view—reminding us that we are not alone. All of this is made possible by MHAEM’s creative vision and its ability to collaborate with partners as diverse as internationally renowned street artist JR and New Jersey Transit.
What might shift if we stopped hiding our struggles and started seeing ourselves in each other?
