Emotions in Art
Heidi Theresa Manfred
What if you could pause a single feeling—like catching a hummingbird mid-flight—and really see it?
Emotions in Art invites you into a new wave of mental health exhibitions, one that doesn’t just talk about emotions, but lets you feel them for yourself. Through vivid, still paintings of individual feelings, the exhibition offers moments of reflection, choice, and connection—showing that mental health isn’t always dramatic or distant; it’s made of small, everyday experiences we all move through.
What might shift if we gave each feeling—even the fleeting ones—space to be seen, felt, and understood?
