I Am More

Amy Kerr Draws Portraits

What if, in the middle of everyday life, you were reminded that you're so much more than your pain or challenges?

Emilia.jpg

I Am More is a heartfelt public‑art exhibition by Amy Kerr, born from her own experience with depression, that travels across malls, libraries, hospitals, and schools. Through pastel-and-colored‑pencil portraits paired with personal essays, it shows real people—veterans, caretakers, survivors—highlighting the whole stories they often keep hidden. Each portrait invites you to see someone beyond a label, to recognize strength, nuance, and hope in everyday lives.

Who might you discover in the portrait next to you—and how might seeing their story change yours?
